The Story of a Minute

I love watching Kate. My favorite thing is to watch how quickly she can move in and out of different emotions.

Here she went from proud,

to frantically upset

to sweet as a sugar beet,

All within a minute.

I'm sure she learns it from watching me. :)

Book Tag

Cherish tagged me
Here are the rules:
1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages)
2. Turn to page 123
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog
5. Tag 5 people

I picked up my old College Text from Intro to Literature, Fictions. Since it's an anthology of short stories, page 123 was a few pages into "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

“I never thought of it before, but it is lucky that John kept me here after all; I can stand it so much easier than a baby, you see.”

Of course, I had to re-read the short story because of this tag and it was so much fun to re-read. I picked up a lot more than when I read it my first semester of college ten years ago. Whenever you feel yourself on the edge of insanity—it pushes you off to the other side.

I tag: Jeni, Samantha, Janeen, Mom, and Cameron

Fish Oil

Yes, I will definitely be investing in some fish oil--even my Dad recommended it (but for a different reason. He said it was good for his ADHD). If the fish oil isn't enough, I will head to Aunt Jolene's. Thanks for your help ladies.

HELP! PMS!

I wish I could've posted yesterday so you could compare the two Julie's. I was getting so much accomplished in my yard and I was so satisfied with everything. Nothing could go wrong.

Today, it's like I became my evil twin. Hormones! UGH! Isn't there a remedy for this somewhere that I just don't know about. Something non-surgical and non-perscription? The week before... I become prickly, barbed. It's like a timer goes off and I grow claws and fangs and start to RAAR, HISS, and SCRATCH! I need suggestions. Honestly the hubby doesn't even ask, PMS is written all over me. He knows there is nothing he can do and nothing he can say. I feel terrible. I don't want to be evil for a whole week every month.

Does anyone have a fool-proof, cure-all, for PMS. Can't I eat roses, a spoonful of sugar, something? I just want to be even-keel. Help-Please!

Mom Would Be Proud

I cleaned out my fridge! Phew! I've been meaning to do that for a long time. I also sprayed my oven with Easy-Off. Not many things could make me feel as good as I do right now--maybe if I swept and mopped my tile and cleaned the toilet. Maybe I will. I love spring! Don't worry though, Kate and I went outside and enjoyed the yard, we aren't completely ignoring this perfect weather.
